Whether you're looking for a new houseplant buddy, fresh potting soil, or just someone to help you pick the perfect plant for your space â we're so glad you stopped by.
A Green Keeper started with a simple idea: everyone deserves a space that feels alive. Tucked on North Jefferson Street in the heart of Monticello, we've been a friendly corner for plant lovers â from first-time buyers who don't know a pothos from a philodendron, to seasoned collectors hunting for that rare variegated leaf.
We believe good plant care doesn't come from a manual â it comes from a conversation. That's why we take the time to get to know your space, your light, and your schedule, so we can point you toward the right plant at the right time. No pressure, no jargon â just honest help from people who genuinely care.
From desk-sized succulents to statement floor plants, we've got everything you need to bring the outdoors in.
From easygoing pothos and snake plants to rare finds and tropical showstoppers â every plant in our shop is hand-selected and healthy.
Ceramic, terracotta, hanging, and self-watering â we carry pots that match every style and every plant size.
Premium potting mixes, perlite, vermiculite, and organic fertilizers â everything to keep roots happy and growth strong.
Hand trowels, pruners, watering cans, and gloves â quality tools that make gardening easier and more enjoyable.
Flower seeds, vegetable starts, and herb seedlings â perfect for kicking off your garden from scratch this season.
Plant food, misters, humidity trays, stakes, and care tags â the little things that make a big difference for your green friends.
We're here to help you succeed with your plants â before, during, and after you bring them home.
Not sure what plant fits your space? Tell us about your light, your lifestyle, and your vibe â we'll match you with the perfect green companion.
Every plant comes with a care card, and we're always happy to walk you through watering, light, and seasonal care when you pick it up.
Heavy bag of soil? Bulky planter? Let us know and we'll arrange delivery around Monticello so you don't have to haul it yourself.
"I walked in looking for one small succulent and walked out with three houseplants, a gorgeous pot, and a bag of soil. The staff was so patient and helped me pick plants that actually fit my apartment. I'll be back for sure!"
"This is the kind of shop that makes you glad a small town like ours exists. Friendly faces, healthy plants, and they actually remember your name. Best garden supply spot in the area, hands down."
Whether you have a question about a plant, need help picking supplies, or just want to browse â our door is always open. Stop by anytime during business hours, give us a call, or drop us an email.
Bring them in, call us, or send an email â we're always happy to help a fellow plant lover out.
